Congratulations to Nicholas O'Toole on his terrific leadership this past year as RCMWR President. It was a pleasure and lots of fun to surprise Nicholas with some tokens of appreciation which included fine dining, theatre, wildlife and rain protection and a technology boost to thank him for his exceptional work as President.
On July 4, 2024, Marie-Paule-B-LeBlanc, Alzheimer Society of NB Event and Philanthropy Coordinator did a great presentation in raising awareness of dementia and the program and services offered by the Alzheimer Society of NB.
Every day, 6 people are diagnosed with dementia in NB and 14% of New Brunswickers affected by dementia are below the age of 65 years old.

July is Cleft Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising more awareness and understanding the challenges of cleft lips and palates. I had the pleasure of meeting some of these Alliance for Smiles team at the Singapore Rotary International Convention. This team just returned from Ecuadar where they provided medical and dental procedures to 120 patients.
