SELL MORE TICKETS
Two Updates:
1. If you need help selling a few more tickets, this Saturday is your chance. Bill De Groot has aligned for our club to have a table selling tickets at Canadian Tire on Mountain Road from 8am to 9pm THIS SATURDAY, MAY 18th. This is a good chance to sell tickets and also market rotary. Please consider joining Bill and/or taking a shift. Understandably, Bill cannot be there all day so please let us know if you can take a shift any time after noon.
2. For your information, our annual summer month venue shuffle will, hopefully, be a bit smoother this year. We have secured Alma Club as our 'home' venue for most (or all) of our meetings in the summer. Exact dates will be confirmed.
Please mark these dates in your calendars:
- May 21, 2024: Rotary District 7815 Annual General Meeting at 6:30 p.m. (ADT). This AGM will be held by zoom. The zoom link has not yet been provided. I am told this is the link to register:
- May 24, 2024: Ticket Draw. THIS MONTH.
- May 29, 2024: GMCC Business After 5 at Moncton Golf Club. This is an opportunity to promote our club, promote ribfest, seek sponsors, volunteers, and new members.
- May 25-29, 2024: Rotary International Convention in Singapore.
- June 1, 2024: Dragon Boat Festival.
- June 14-16, 2024: District Conference is in St. Pierre & Miquelon.
- June 20-23, 2024: Ribfest 2024 at Riverfront Park. This is an all-hands-on deck event for our club and you are asked to reserve some time in your calendars so that you can volunteer. LESS THAN TWO MONTHS AWAY.
- July 19, 2024: Fun Golf Tournament.
- August 16, 2024: Lobster Party at Lisa Gallagher's.
- August 29, 2024: Rotary Charity Classic golf tournament.
