Greetings, Rotarians. November is Foundation month.

1. November is Foundation Month. Did you know that for as little as 60 cents (USD) donated to the Rotary Foundation, a child can be protected from polio?

2. IMPORTANT REMINDER: The YMCA has invited Rotary members to its "Peace it Forward Luncheon". The event celebrates unity, community, and peace. Amazingly, the event will also celebrate and honour Rotary MWR's Barbara Elias as a 2023 Peace Medal Recipient. The event is on November 9, 2023 from 12pm to 1pm at Legends Restaurant. Tickets are $30 per person or $240 for a table of 8. Please let me know if you would like to reserve a seat or table. Let's show support to YMCA and to Barbara Elias. Congratulations, Barbara!

3. Looking ahead, please mark these dates in your calendars:

- December 1, 2023: Club's Christmas Party. 

- December 15, 2023: club's Annual General Meeting. The bylaws provide that at a regular meeting one month prior to the meeting for election of officers, the presiding officer shall ask for nominations by members of the club for secretary; it is now time to start thinking about filling this important role. The Charity's Board AGM will also take place on this date.

- January 5, 2023: New Year's Levee at Brix. 

- January 26, 2023: Charter Night at Spruce & Iron (Moncton Golf Club). 

- May 25-29: Rotary International Convention in Singapore.

- June 14-16: District Conference is in St. Pierre & Miquelon

One colorless table will be reserved for those who wish to physically distance themselves from others (due to cold and flu season or otherwise).
