Want To Learn Something New? Here's An Opportunity Or Two.

 

Here is a list of club updates:

 

1. On behalf of our club's youth exchange committee: please know a "PLAN A" home has been secured for exchange student, Arthur. Thank you to Gary Jewett for offering his home to Arthur.

 

2.  Rotary Leadership Institute is offering online courses for PART 2. The dates are February 1, 8, and 15 from 630-830pm. If you've obtained your level 1, please consider registering for level 2. If you have questions, please contact rliatlanticreg@gmail.com. Here is a link for registration:

3. District Grant Training is being offered on two separate dates: January 20 from 10am to 1130am and January 25 from 7pm to 830pm. For a Rotary Club to qualify for a District Grant, clubs must send two members to one of either training session. FYI: one of the sessions will be recorded and posted to District 7815's youtube channel. Viewing the recording also counts towards attending. The links to register are here:

4. Following Sandy Mollins' email of today's date, please consider attending our Charter Night on February 9, 2024 at Spruce & Iron (Moncton Golf & Country Club). Doors open at 530pm. The Social Committee needs to confirm who will be attending, whether they you are bringing a guest and also your choice of food (Roast Beef, Salmon, or Vegan). There is no charge for members; the fee for guests is $75.00.

 

5. By the way, let's not forget our rotary goals in order to obtain a citation!

- February 9, 2024: Charter Night at Spruce & Iron (Moncton Golf Club).

 

- May 25-29: Rotary International Convention in Singapore.

 

- June 14-16: District Conference is in St. Pierre & Miquelon. 

 

- June 20-23: Ribfest 2024 at Riverfront Park. This is an all-hands-on deck event for our club and you are asked to reserve some time in your calendars so that you can volunteer.
