Again, Short Bulletins Are Harder Than You Might Think...

 

We are entering a very critical time for our club requiring a lot of support from all of us. Each of the following initiatives are very important and will be maximized only if we have the unconditional support of all club members. In chronological order, they are:

 

1. May 24th. Ticket Draw. Tickets will be distributed very soon giving us all a bit more than one full month to sell tickets. The ticket draw committee sees $60,000.00 profit as a realistic goal. Let's do it.

 

2. June 20-23, 2024. Ribfest. This is an all-hands-on-deck event. Plus, it's a lot of fun. Last week Past President and ribfest team lead, Colin Reeves, gave us a snapshot of how this event is coming together. Each member of this club is asked to commit to at least three shifts.

 

3. June 30, 2024. Edith Cavell. This date marks Sue Murray's last day as chair of the Edith Cavell lunch program - after twelve years. The club needs someone to fill that role. The students at Edith Cavell also need someone to fill that role. Please consider chairing or co-chairing this committee.

- April 19 OR 20, 2024: Guess Who's Coming For Dinner. Key contact: Nadine Larche at nadinelarche@icloud.com

 

- April 20, 2024: RLI in Fredericton.

 

- April 21, 2024 from 8am-11am: clean up service project. Trinity Drive Area. Key contact: Erin Hansen at deoe.hansen@gmail.com.

 

- May 24, 2024: Ticket Draw.

 

- May 25-29, 2024: Rotary International Convention in Singapore.

 

- June 1, 2024: Dragon Boat Festival.

 

- June 14-16, 2024: District Conference is in St. Pierre & Miquelon. 

 

- June 20-23, 2024: Ribfest 2024 at Riverfront Park. This is an all-hands-on deck event for our club and you are asked to reserve some time in your calendars so that you can volunteer.

 

- August 29, 2024: Rotary Charity Classic golf tournament.
